We’ve taken advantage of the down time of the pandemic to launch a new website! Welcome.

No one thought that we would still be unable to practise in the rec centre one year later, but as soon as the weather is warmed up we will try outdoor practising like we did last summer.

We are still waiting to get back into our practice space. We are hoping that some outdoor events will be able to go ahead this summer.

Happy New Year from Uminari Taiko! What a year we have had – Pandemic, masks, wildfire smoke, cancelled classes, cancelled gigs, cancelled taiko conference….  Here’s hoping 2021 will bring better luck.
